F Bracket – GM (98109392)

GM lists this f bracket under number 98109392. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.
• Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.
• The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.

Electrical and fuel-system parts are normally excluded from return once fitted, since they cannot be resold as new after use. Brackets that carry load in shear rather than tension are sensitive to bolt grade, and substituting a lower grade is a common cause of elongation at the holes.

Worth checking against the original before fitting. If you cannot read the number, we can match it from the VIN. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
