F Bracket – GM (86783458)

GM lists this f bracket under number 86783458. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.
• A bracket is one of the few parts where a wrong number will physically bolt on and still be wrong: the holes line up but the offset or angle differs.
• Check whether the listing includes the mounting bolts and the rubber insulator. On older vehicles those are sold separately and are usually the parts that failed.

A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket. Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
