USB Data Cable – GM (84243408)

GM lists this usb data cable under number 84243408. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• Cable fitment turns on the end fittings at each end, the conduit length, and whether the assembly includes the retaining clips and boots.
• A cable even a few millimetres short will not reach its bracket regardless of routing, so overall length is worth confirming before ordering.
• Adjustable rods and links are set to a reference length at the factory, and matching that length before fitting saves a lot of trial and error.

Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date. Linkage rods with threaded ends are adjusted for length, so thread engagement at each end matters as much as the overall dimension.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
