Upper Hose Bracket – GM (84995437)

GM lists this upper hose bracket under number 84995437. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.
• Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.
• The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.

A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself. Support and brace parts are matched to a specific engine and body combination, so the part number carries more information than the shape does.

The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
