Upper Bracket – GM (85029875)

The upper bracket here is the GM part, numbered 85029875. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Brackets are frequently revised during a model run, so a superseded number may look different from the part being removed and still be correct.
• A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.
• Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.

The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
