Ordering a side bracket for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
Factory part number 87863776: a side bracket supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.
Brackets that carry load in shear rather than tension are sensitive to bolt grade, and substituting a lower grade is a common cause of elongation at the holes.
Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone.
