Ordering a side bracket for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
This is a side bracket from GM, factory part number 85135286. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.
Where a bracket also earths a component, the mounting surface needs to be clean metal or the circuit will be intermittent.
