Side Bracket – GM (84870120)

GM lists this side bracket under number 84870120.

• Part number 84870120
• Brand GM
• Category Brackets & Supports > Brackets
• Worth knowing A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.

Varies by build: Rs, high country and Z71.

Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose.

The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it.
