Shield – GM (97333896)

This is a shield from GM, factory part number 97333896. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Shields & Guards.

• Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.
• The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.
• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.

Colour-matched and textured covers are rarely interchangeable with a plain black service part, even where the moulding is identical. Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
