• Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.
• Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.
• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.

A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself. The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.

The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
