Release Cable – GM (84694748)

The release cable here is the GM part, numbered 84694748. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• 40% side, seat cushion
• Where a cable operates a latch, the latch itself is often the real fault, so check that it moves freely before blaming the cable.
• Linkage rods with threaded ends are adjusted for length, so thread engagement at each end matters as much as the overall dimension.

Fitment lists are a guide rather than a guarantee, because the same model year can carry different parts depending on the production break and the option code.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
