Plug – Ford (353051s1)

FORD lists this plug under number 353051s1. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Caps & Plugs.

• On panel and plate parts, check whether the original is held by clips, screws or both. The fasteners are often sold separately and are often what actually broke.
• A cap that vents and a cap that does not are visually similar, and swapping them gives a fault code or a pressure leak rather than a fit problem.
• Inspection covers are usually the first thing removed and the last thing reordered, which is why a missing cover often shows up as a rattle rather than a leak.

A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself. Electrical and fuel-system parts are normally excluded from return once fitted, since they cannot be resold as new after use.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
