Plastic Nut – Mopar (6511452aa)

MOPAR lists this plastic nut under number 6511452aa. It is catalogued under Nuts & Washers > Nuts.

• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.
• A lock nut and a plain nut are not substitutes on a steering or suspension joint, and a wave washer holds preload rather than merely spreading load.
• Match thread size and pitch to the fastener, then match the type to the joint. That order avoids most returns.

A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.

The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
