Panel – GM (84973173)

Factory part number 84973173: a panel supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Panels & Plates.

• Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.
• The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.
• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.

Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it. Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
