Outer Finish Panel – GM (42899790)

GM lists this outer finish panel under number 42899790. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Panels & Plates.

• 6 passenger, seat cushion, blue
• A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.
• Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.

Plastic covers harden with heat cycles, so a cover that has been on the vehicle for a decade often cracks at the screw bosses when refitted.
