Outer Bracket – GM (26491624)

GM lists this outer bracket under number 26491624. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Electrical and fuel-system parts are normally excluded from return once fitted, since they cannot be resold as new after use.
• Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.
• Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose.

A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
