Ordering a hook for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
GM lists this hook under number 22984804. It is catalogued under Accessories & Mounts > Hooks & Carriers.
Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date. The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.
The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it.
