High Frequency Antenna – GM (84346857)

Factory part number 84346857: a high frequency antenna supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Electrical Components > Audio & Antennas.

• Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.
• Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose.
• Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.

Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it. The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
