F Pipe – GM (97845959)

This is a f pipe from GM, factory part number 97845959. It is catalogued under Hoses & Lines > Tubes & Pipes.

• When a hose is replaced because of a leak, the mating fitting usually needs cleaning back to bare metal before the new assembly goes on.
• Quick-connect fittings on later vehicles need the retaining clip released rather than the line twisted, and the clip is easily lost in the process.
• Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.

Coolant and refrigerant hoses see different pressures and different fluids, so the material is not interchangeable between the two systems. Rubber hardens with heat cycles. Replacing one hose on an old assembly without inspecting its neighbours usually means a second repair shortly after.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
