F Panel – GM (86807415)

The f panel here is the GM part, numbered 86807415. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Panels & Plates.

• Where a cover sits against a painted panel, a slight shade difference is normal on service parts supplied primed rather than finished.
• Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.
• The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.

The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape. Plastic covers harden with heat cycles, so a cover that has been on the vehicle for a decade often cracks at the screw bosses when refitted.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
