Ordering a f panel for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
Factory part number 86272695: a f panel supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Panels & Plates.
Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it. The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.
Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone.
