What is it? This is a f extension from GM, factory part number 84501923. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Panels & Plates.
Anything to check first? Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose. The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it.
What else matters? Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.
How fast does it ship? Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
