F Cable – GM (87813530)

GM lists this f cable under number 87813530. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• Linkage rods with threaded ends are adjusted for length, so thread engagement at each end matters as much as the overall dimension.
• The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.
• Fitment lists are a guide rather than a guarantee, because the same model year can carry different parts depending on the production break and the option code.

A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself. Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
