Ordering a f cable for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
GM lists this f cable under number 85534831. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.
Linkage rods with threaded ends are adjusted for length, so thread engagement at each end matters as much as the overall dimension. Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.
Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone.
