F Cable – GM (42896544)

GM lists this f cable under number 42896544.

• Brand GM
• Category Cables & Linkage > Cables
• Worth knowing Release and shift cables are directional. Fitted the wrong way round they usually still operate, but bind or fail early.

Adjustable rods and links are set to a reference length at the factory, and matching that length before fitting saves a lot of trial and error.

Worth checking against the original before fitting. If you cannot read the number, we can match it from the VIN.
