F Bracket – GM (98140298)

The f bracket here is the GM part, numbered 98140298. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.
• A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.
• Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.

Brackets are frequently revised during a model run, so a superseded number may look different from the part being removed and still be correct. Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
