F Bracket – GM (98037625)

Factory part number 98037625: a f bracket supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose.
• Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.
• A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.

Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original. Brackets are frequently revised during a model run, so a superseded number may look different from the part being removed and still be correct.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
