F Bracket – GM (97685066)

This is a f bracket from GM, factory part number 97685066. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.
• The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.
• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.

Where a bracket also earths a component, the mounting surface needs to be clean metal or the circuit will be intermittent. Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
