F Bracket – GM (97564274)

This is a f bracket from GM, factory part number 97564274. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Brackets are frequently revised during a model run, so a superseded number may look different from the part being removed and still be correct.
• A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.
• The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.

Where a bracket also earths a component, the mounting surface needs to be clean metal or the circuit will be intermittent. Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.

Worth checking against the original before fitting. If you cannot read the number, we can match it from the VIN. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
