F Bracket – GM (86797723)

This is a f bracket from GM, factory part number 86797723. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Where a bracket also earths a component, the mounting surface needs to be clean metal or the circuit will be intermittent.
• Brackets are frequently revised during a model run, so a superseded number may look different from the part being removed and still be correct.
• A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket.

Check whether the listing includes the mounting bolts and the rubber insulator. On older vehicles those are sold separately and are usually the parts that failed. Electrical and fuel-system parts are normally excluded from return once fitted, since they cannot be resold as new after use.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Handed to the carrier within one to two business days from our US warehouse, free over $59.
