F Bracket – GM (84977938)

Ordering a f bracket for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.

This is a f bracket from GM, factory part number 84977938. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

Check whether the listing includes the mounting bolts and the rubber insulator. On older vehicles those are sold separately and are usually the parts that failed. The number stamped on the old part is the only reliable identifier, since two parts can look identical and differ by a millimetre or by rotation direction.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it.
