F Bracket – GM (84785733)

This is a f bracket from GM, factory part number 84785733. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose.
• Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.
• A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.

Where a bracket also earths a component, the mounting surface needs to be clean metal or the circuit will be intermittent. Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
