Factory part number 98037481: an element supplied by GM.
It is catalogued under Accessories & Mounts > Inserts & Elements.
Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it.
Insert and accessory parts are usually trim-level specific, and the same console takes a different insert depending on whether the vehicle has a floor shifter, a column shifter or a storage bin.
The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it.
