Ordering an element for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.
GM lists this element under number 89002477. It is catalogued under Accessories & Mounts > Inserts & Elements.
A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself. Mirrored parts are easy to order wrongly, and a guard or carrier for the other side will bolt on and then fail to align with the panel it protects.
The part number is the thing to verify. Where the old part carries no legible number, a VIN and a photograph are enough for us to identify it.
