Converter Shield – GM (12681011)

Factory part number 12681011: a converter shield supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Covers & Caps > Shields & Guards.

• 6.2L supercharged
• A cover or cap is matched on the part number, the finish, and whether the listing is the cover alone or a cover with its gasket and retainers.
• Colour-matched and textured covers are rarely interchangeable with a plain black service part, even where the moulding is identical.

A cap that vents and a cap that does not are visually similar, and swapping them gives a fault code or a pressure leak rather than a fit problem.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
