Cable – GM (89032200)

The cable here is the GM part, numbered 89032200. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.
• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.
• Cable fitment turns on the end fittings at each end, the conduit length, and whether the assembly includes the retaining clips and boots.

Adjustable rods and links are set to a reference length at the factory, and matching that length before fitting saves a lot of trial and error. Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Match this against the part you are taking off rather than against a photo. If the number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm it. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
