Cable – GM (89032191)

Ordering a cable for GM comes down to the part number rather than the description.

GM lists this cable under number 89032191. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

Release and shift cables are directional. Fitted the wrong way round they usually still operate, but bind or fail early. Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it.
