Cable – GM (89032183)

Factory part number 89032183: a cable supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• Cable fitment turns on the end fittings at each end, the conduit length, and whether the assembly includes the retaining clips and boots.
• A cable even a few millimetres short will not reach its bracket regardless of routing, so overall length is worth confirming before ordering.
• Adjustable rods and links are set to a reference length at the factory, and matching that length before fitting saves a lot of trial and error.

Genuine parts are made to the drawing the vehicle was built from, so dimensions and materials match the part being removed rather than being close to it. Superseded numbers are common, and where a factory number has been replaced the current part is usually dimensionally identical to the original.

Worth checking against the original before fitting. If you cannot read the number, we can match it from the VIN. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
