Cable – GM (88925347)

Factory part number 88925347: a cable supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• A cable that already feels stiff before fitting usually has a kinked conduit from storage, and forcing it will make the bind worse once installed.
• Where a cable operates a latch, the latch itself is often the real fault, so check that it moves freely before blaming the cable.
• Linkage rods with threaded ends are adjusted for length, so thread engagement at each end matters as much as the overall dimension.

Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness. Cables routed near exhaust or moving suspension parts need their original clips, because a cable left to hang will chafe through its conduit within a season.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
