Cable – GM (18037408)

Factory part number 18037408: a cable supplied by GM. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.
• Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.
• The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape.

Cables routed near exhaust or moving suspension parts need their original clips, because a cable left to hang will chafe through its conduit within a season. Cable fitment turns on the end fittings at each end, the conduit length, and whether the assembly includes the retaining clips and boots.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
