Cable – GM (18033773)

The cable here is the GM part, numbered 18033773. It is catalogued under Cables & Linkage > Cables.

• Adjustable rods and links are set to a reference length at the factory, and matching that length before fitting saves a lot of trial and error.
• Release and shift cables are directional. Fitted the wrong way round they usually still operate, but bind or fail early.
• Cables routed near exhaust or moving suspension parts need their original clips, because a cable left to hang will chafe through its conduit within a season.

The photographs on a listing show the actual stock item, so compare the mounting points and the connector or fitting rather than the overall shape. Fitment lists are a guide rather than a guarantee, because the same model year can carry different parts depending on the production break and the option code.

Check the number on the part you are removing before ordering. If it is worn off, send the VIN and a photo and we will match it. Dispatched from our US warehouse within one to two business days, with free shipping over $59.
