Bracket – GM (84641446)

GM lists this bracket under number 84641446. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Where the vehicle is close to a model-year change, the VIN is a more reliable guide than the registration date.
• A bracket is one of the few parts where a wrong number will physically bolt on and still be wrong: the holes line up but the offset or angle differs.
• Rubber insulators isolate vibration, and a worn insulator will make even a new bracket feel loose within a few thousand miles.

A bracket that has cracked once usually points at a worn mount nearby rather than at a weak bracket. Check whether the listing includes the mounting bolts and the rubber insulator. On older vehicles those are sold separately and are usually the parts that failed.

Confirm the number before you order, because a near match will bolt on and still be wrong. Send the VIN if the old marking has gone. Ships from our US warehouse in one to two business days, free over $59.
