Bracket – Ford (SL1Z-19H421-C)

This is a bracket from FORD, factory part number SL1Z-19H421-C. It is catalogued under Brackets & Supports > Brackets.

• Torque figures belong to the fastener and the joint rather than to the part, so the factory procedure is the reference rather than a general rule.
• A part that fails early usually points at an installation fault or a worn component nearby rather than at the part itself.
• Keeping the old part until the new one is fitted and checked is the simplest way to avoid a second order.

Corrosion at a mounting face is worth cleaning back before fitting anything new, because a part that sits on scale will work loose. Where a diagram shows several similar items on one assembly, the difference between them is normally length, shoulder or handedness.

Worth checking against the original before fitting. If you cannot read the number, we can match it from the VIN. Leaves our US warehouse in one to two business days, and shipping is free over $59.
